Who's Really Disrepecting The Flag
Colin Kaepernick did not disrespect the flag. Kneeling before power is how you humbly seek favor from it. Europeans should understand that tradition as their ancestors did before Kings. Colin did not destroy property like those folks at the Boston Tea Party. Our so called leaders are disrespecting the flag.
Instead of castigating someone for exercising their rights under the flag, Mike Ditka should have invited Kaepernick, a member of his football family and a fellow American to sit down with him and discuss his concerns. #leadership
The NFL owners should have made sure Kaepernick got try outs with their teams. Then all Americans would be assured that their pursuit of happiness is never jeopardized when they exercise those rights. #Leadership
POTUS, instead of calling people names for exercising the very rights the flag represents, should have demonstrated he is President of all people and not just those who elected him. He should have invited the various sides of the racial issue to meet with him including, police, blacks and white supremacists. # Inclusive Leadership
